Our Housing Providers

MHPP is made up of 17 Registered Provider's (RP's) who manage affordable homes across Manchester. The RP's are divided into lead and support partners.

With its roots in the African Caribbean community, Arawak Walton champions the provision of quality affordable homes in sustainable multi-cultural neighbourhoods.

They have been providing affordable homes in the heart of Manchester for nearly 30 years.

Great Places Housing Group exists to improve the lives of the people living in their 19,000 homes across the North West and Yorkshire.

They are much more than just a landlord, providing a wide range of services and promoting partnership work to create vibrant, sustainable communities.

Mosscare St Vincent’s Housing Group is an amalgamation of two long established and respected community landlords who have come together for the benefit of our customers, both present and future.

They are a blend of strong partnerships, innovation in their communities and experience in the sector.

Northwards Housing is a not-for-profit ALMO (arm’s length management organisation) managing over 13,000 City Council homes across north Manchester.

They are committed to supporting the wider regeneration of the area. Their aspiration is to continue to deliver the best housing management service to the people of north Manchester.

Underpinning their vision, their three values say everything about how they work and what their priorities are.

One Manchester is a provider of housing and community services, offering support to people in all areas and stages of life and circumstance.

They own and manage more than 12,000 homes in central, south and east Manchester. They make a difference to people and places by creating opportunities, transforming communities and changing lives.

Southway is a committed and forward-thinking not-for-profit local housing company and are passionate about providing excellent homes and outstanding customer care.

They own and manage almost 6,000 homes across Burnage, Chorlton, Didsbury and Withington and provide services for tenants, residents, the environment and wider community of south Manchester and beyond.

Wythenshawe Community Housing Group (WCHG) manages almost 14,000 properties, providing homes to more than 20,000 people in South Manchester and provides local employment to 560 colleagues.

WCHG’s vision is to create “a community where people choose to live and work, having pride in their homes and services”. WCHG boasts an impressive £100m development portfolio which will create 836 new homes leaving a lasting legacy for the Wythenshawe Community.

Support Partners

Owning 34,000 homes across the North West and East Midlands and by combining the strengths of two successful housing groups, New Charter Group and Adactus Housing Group, Jigsaw Group creates new and exciting opportunities for tenants and customers.

Their members build, renovate and manage low-cost housing for rent and sale. They work to help regenerate neighbourhoods and increase life opportunities for disadvantaged individuals and communities.

The Riverside Group Limited is a group of complementary businesses driven by a clear social purpose, with a charitable Housing Association at its heart. Riverside currently owns and manages 52,000 social and shared ownership homes nationwide.

This includes general needs, supported housing services (accommodation-based, floating support, and outreach services), Retirement Living Schemes, and Extra Care services.

Johnnie Johnson Housing is a not-for-profit housing association dedicated to offering quality homes for independent living.

They provide a wide range of quality homes for 5,000 residents in the North West, North East, Yorkshire and Derbyshire.

They have particular expertise in providing housing and services for older people and their portfolio includes purpose built retirement properties available for rent, shared ownership and leasehold.

Onward are a leading provider of quality, affordable homes for rent and sale in the North West. From Southport to Stockport, they own and manage over 35,000 homes right across the region. But they do more than just provide a roof over our customers’ heads. They’re here to make a real difference.

They offer help and support to vulnerable people facing a range of challenges, and create strong and vibrant communities that their customers can be proud to be a part of.

The Guinness Partnership was founded 129 years ago and is now one of the largest affordable housing and care providers in England.

It is committed to improving people’s lives by providing as many high quality affordable homes as possible, and the housing and care services that customers most need. It has more than 140,000 customers across the country, living in more than 66,000 homes.

Irwell Valley Homes provides 7,600 homes and housing and support services across Greater Manchester. Their mission is to create the conditions in which customers and colleagues can enjoy life and realise their potential.

Places for People have over 50 years’ affordable housing management and development experience. Their innovative, award winning neighbourhood and tenancy management approach combines local service delivery with market leading technology and the support of a large UK-wide operation.

They give their residents peace of mind by making sure their homes and neighbourhoods are well cared for.

People First operate, an established Community Support Service across Manchester, working with vulnerable people with a range of needs. They also own and manage 300 properties of various sizes in Hulme, and in 2018 opened their first day nursery, following successful registration with Ofsted.

Your Housing Group is a new generation of housing provider. With a pioneering, creative workforce, we are working efficiently and effectively to build as many quality houses as possible to play our part in solving the national housing crisis.

Clarion Housing Group comprises the country’s largest housing association; a property development company, a charitable foundation and a maintenance contractor.

The Group’s housing association, Clarion Housing, is committed to providing good customer service to all its residents and to maintaining its homes to a good standard - investing significantly in improving them each year.

We own and manage over 1,300 homes, in and around Manchester. Our homes are a mix of new build and refurbished flats, houses and bungalows. Some market rent, shared ownership properties and a number of supported schemes are all included in our stock.

We also act as managing agents for two almshouse schemes, in Chester and Stockport and a housing association scheme, in Manchester.
